Satsang is a Sanskrit term meaning “in the company of truth”.

It combines Sat (truth, reality, existence) and Sangha (company or association). Sanskrit is the language of Yoga.

Satsang is a gathering of those who wish to inquire together as to the deeper meanings of truth, life and reality. This collective inquiry is usually accompanied by readings or references to spiritual literature and the singing or chanting of spiritual songs or mantra.

This kind of gathering is a great aid and support for the deepening of one’s understanding about practice and life.
